The clerk smiles and says, "Yes, of course! We have a very famous book on that." She brings the book to him. The man looks at the cover. He thinks for a moment. Then, he becomes very happy. He says, "That sounds wonderful! Please give me two copies of this book! I want no problems at all!"

A Strange Order
A bored boy walked into a quiet library. It was 10:00 a.m. on a rainy Saturday. He had nothing to do at home, so he wanted to borrow something interesting. He walked straight to the front desk. Then, he shouted in a loud voice, "I would like a cheeseburger, french fries, and a large soda, please!" The woman at the desk was very surprised. She looked at him and whispered, "Young man, this is a library!" The boy felt very embarrassed. His face turned completely red. "Oh, I am so sorry," he replied in a whisper. Then, he leaned forward and whispered quietly, "I would like a cheeseburger, french fries, and a large soda, please."

A Day Out with a Penguin
One sunny afternoon, a police officer was walking down the street. Suddenly, he saw a man walking with a penguin. The man was holding a bottle of water for his unusual companion. The officer stopped the man and said, "You cannot walk in the city with a penguin! Take it to the zoo right now!" The man explained that his life was boring, but he agreed to follow the order. The next day, the officer was walking along the same street. To his surprise, he saw the man with the penguin again. This time, both of them were wearing dark sunglasses. The officer ran over and shouted, "Hey! I told you to take that penguin to the zoo yesterday!" The man smiled and replied, "I did! We went to the zoo and had great fun. Today, we are going to the movies!"

A Clever Solution at the Bookstore
One morning at 10 a.m., an elderly gentleman entered a cozy bookstore. He walked past the tall wooden bookcases and approached the young clerk behind the counter. The gentleman looked tired and explained that his daily routine was full of stress. He asked, "Excuse me, do you have that famous book called 'How to Solve Half of Your Problems'?" The clerk smiled politely and replied, "Yes, sir. We certainly have it in stock. It is right over there on the top shelf." The gentleman thought for a second, nodded with excitement, and cheerfully said, "That sounds wonderful! In that case, I will buy two copies, please." The clerk blinked and stared at him in silence, completely confused by this unusual request. A moment later, she suddenly understood his amusing logic: if reading one book could eliminate fifty percent of troubles, buying two of them would surely solve everything. Both of them burst into laughter, and other shoppers turned around with warm smiles. It turned out that humor, rather than self-help books, was the best medicine for stress.

The Lucky Bowl
One morning at 9 a.m., an art dealer was driving near the border of a rural town. He stopped at a quiet farmhouse where he noticed a cat drinking milk near a wooden box. When he looked closer, his heart leaped. The dusty dish was not an ordinary plate; it was a rare antique bowl worth thousands of dollars! The dealer realized that the elderly farmer had no idea how valuable it was. Hoping to strike a bargain, he decided to hide his excitement. He approached the farmer and said casually, "What a charming cat! I was born with a deep love for pets. Would you consider selling her to me for twenty dollars?" The farmer thought for a moment and nodded. "That sounds fair. She is yours." The dealer handed over the cash, picked up the cat, and then pointed at the dish. "Since she is used to this bowl, do you mind if I take it along? I will give you another five dollars for it." The old farmer chuckled and shook his head. "I am sorry, son, but that is my lucky bowl. This week alone, it has helped me sell thirty cats!"

The Literary Canine
One quiet afternoon, a clerk working at an independent bookstore was utterly astonished when a golden retriever trotted through the front door. The dog carried a leather pouch and a folded note in its mouth. The clerk cautiously retrieved the note, which politely requested an anthology of classical literature along with exact cash for payment. Baffled by this peculiar customer, the employee handed over the book, completed the transaction, and watched the animal calmly depart.
Overwhelmed by genuine curiosity, the clerk decided to follow the dog to discover where it was going. To his amazement, the dog navigated suburban streets skillfully and waited patiently at a bus stop. Upon boarding the vehicle, the dog displayed a transit pass attached to its collar, winning admiring glances from commuters. Three stops later, the retriever disembarked and strolled toward a modest residential cottage.
Peeking through the living room window, the clerk observed the dog leap onto a plush armchair, adjust the lamp, and begin turning the pages with its paw. Moments later, the homeowner arrived and immediately began scolding the animal harshly.
Unable to restrain himself, the bookstore clerk knocked on the door and intervened. "Excuse me, sir! Why on earth are you reprimanding this magnificent creature? Your dog is an undeniable genius!"
The owner sighed with fatigue, shaking his head in sheer frustration. "Genius? Do not let him deceive you! This is the third time this week he has wasted his allowance on literature, yet he still cannot remember where he buried his favorite bone."
